Thanksgiving Turkey Fry - 2017
Carrington Ridge Fry Boys- Thank You
I would like to thank everyone for yet another amazing year for the 2017 Carrington Ridge Fry Boys Turkey Fry! We were able to deliver 157 Fried Turkeys (about 2,200 lbs) to local Charlotte Homeless Shelters, Battered Women Shelters and others in need: Salvation Army Rehab Center, Room at the Inn Teen Pregnancy now called Mira-Via, Salvation Army Women’s and Children’s Shelter, NTI students, Easter Seals, Caterpillar/Huntington Green Ministries, and Angels and Sparrows. We even had the opportunity this year to deliver cakes and pies to a shelter that was short on desserts.
This couldn’t have been done without our sponsors: Harris Teeter, Boy Scout Troop 323, Longhorn Steak House, Lake Norman Citizen, US Foods Chef Store, Universal Technical Institute Financial Aid Dept, Motorcycle Mechanics Institute-Phoenix Financial Aid Dept, Universal Technical Institute, Military Division Universal Technical Institute, Accent Heating and Cooling and Mainstreet Management Group. I would like to especially thank the Carrington Ridge Community as they make everything possible! It’s an honor to be a part of such a great community. If there be any truer measure of a community by what it does, it must be by what it gives.
